I have over 10 years of experience working on sustainability in global supply chains. Having worked in Asia for several years before moving back to Europe, I combine my on the ground experience from different supply chains with my strong knowledge of international human rights standards in my work as Senior Manager for Human rights at the ALDI SOUTH Group. Together with my team of passionate Human Rights specialists I further develop the HREDD approach of the ALDI SOUTH Group making sure that we have the right partnerships, policies, processes and tools in place to address human rights risk in our supply chains.

In a constantly evolving legislative landscape we align our work with international standards, in particular the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
• Further developing and implementing ALDI‘s social compliance strategy in textile and shoe supply chains • Responsible for driving ALDI’s work on child labour and forced labour • Developing our own CR Supplier Evaluation and capacity building approach
• Supporting Myanmar SME with information on standards, the European market and requirements of German buyers • Conducting market studies and analyses on different sectors and industries for German companies • Providing services for German companies looking for sourcing opportunities in Myanmar: Identifying potential suppliers and supporting the dialogue between Myanmar and German companies • Developing the overall service portfolio of the Delegation and the setup of the German Myanmar Business Chamber • Being in lead of two sector specific incoming business missions for European buyers in the garment sector and for German suppliers in the sector of infrastructure and construction • Focus sectors: garments, agricultural products, renewable energies, light industrial products and handicrafts
• CSR advisory for mining companies: Conducting analysis of companies with regards to CSR, developing company specific CSR strategies and supporting the implementation of the strategies developed • Responsible for the conceptual development of the GIZ advisory service “CSR Strategy development for Mongolian companies”: Developing the conceptional framework and training materials and being responsible for promoting the CSR advisory service and marketing activities • Supporting the Non-governmental Organization Mongolian Youth Development Service Center: Improving the organizational and operational structure of the NGO and developing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation framework • Thematic focus: CSR-Standards, -Strategies and -Management Systems, Community Development, sustainable economic development in the mining sector
