DG+Design's mission is to leverage energy expertise, creative skill, and marketing strategy to empower clean energy and sustainable brands to offer innovative, low-carbon products and services that fight climate change. • Led Consulting team to deliver high-impact energy research, competitive analysis, market entry and strategy, and technical thought leadership to support both employer and clean energy client business goals • As primary point of contact, project manager, and technical content lead for multiple clients, managed the tasks and priorities on cross-departmental project teams to directly contribute to roughly 50% of annual company revenue • Contributed to the research and development of 14 in-house reports assessing solar, energy storage, and electric vehicles in the U.S., as well as interactive maps, graphics, and technical insights; all are available on company website • As first full-time employee and a strategic leader, employed creative problem-solving to develop and implement processes and structures that span across internal operations, company culture, and human resources, most of which are still in place today • Reviewed, edited, and provided technical energy advice for colleagues’ blogs, press releases, media pitches, speaking proposals, and more
• Wrote copy for dozens of blogs, white papers, company websites, sales collateral, and email campaigns on behalf of cleantech, electric vehicle, and sustainability clients
• Developed comprehensive Excel model to evaluate the benefits of combined solar and battery energy storage systems for organizations, which is currently being used across the company as an initial assessment tool for potential clients • Identified key global market opportunities by conducting industry research and performing data aggregation and analysis, and distilled a dynamic and targeted pipeline of leads that is being pursued by global sales team • Authored pivotal thought leadership paper draft concerning battery energy storage solutions and electricity transmission, which will be published in collaboration with industry partners in the next year Fluence is the result of two industry powerhouses and pioneers in energy storage joining together to form a new company dedicated to innovating modern electric infrastructure.
