Provide support to a range of HR functions, which include the following responsibilities: • Full cycle recruiting • Employee Communications • Coordinate Health and Safety activities such as JH&SC meetings and workplace inspections • Manage WSIB claims • Coordinate employee training, both in-house and external • Assist with benefit and pension enrolment • Assist in planning large employee-focused events
Provide coordinator-level support to a range of HR functions including employee communications, benefit and payroll administration, recruiting and staffing support. • Integral to recruiting and staffing initiative, coordinating and scheduling interviews, preparing offer of employment correspondence, and providing new hire orientation to include corporate policies, employee benefits, and health / safety requirements. • Provided training for staff and management for internal timekeeping and attendance software. • Assist in planning and coordination of large employee-focused social events. • Member of the Health & Safety Committee
