Provided technical expertise to customers in Epic’s outpatient pharmacy software applications. Partnered with health informatics staff and clinicians at three organizations to leverage Epic tools and configurability to improve healthcare delivery processes. Solved complex problems related to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. Designed and programmed application functionality to be utilized by many Epic customers.
Part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of professors, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Collaborated with an industry mentor at General Motors to create predictive analytics for energy usage in motor vehicle manufacturing paint shops. Developed a MATLAB program based on psychrometrics to output a manufacturing plant's energy expenditure for a given weather data set.
