As a nursing assistant on a cardiac medicine progressive care unit, my responsibilities include: - Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs). - Providing patient care treatments including but not limited to: discontinuing IVs, restraint monitoring, and collecting patient vitals, weights, and intake & output. - Collecting specimens such as urine, stool, and finger stick blood glucose. - Responding to patient call lights and requests. - Assisting nurses with procedures.

As a tutor with TRIO, Upward Bound at Metro State University, my responsibilities included: • Providing one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students. • Assisting students with coursework and homework. • Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. • Monitoring and assessing student progress. • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff.
