I am a Senior Program Manager at TELUS Health and MSc student in Health Systems Research at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. With over a decade of experience in human-centred research and design, I occupy a unique space at the intersection of health informatics, strategic innovation, and qualitative inquiry. I currently lead public sector client engagements for TELUS Home Health Monitoring, ensuring that TELUS’s remote patient monitoring solutions provide measurable impact for patients, providers, and health system partners. My professional journey, which includes roles as Design Research Lead at Connected (now Thoughtworks) and Resident Ethnographer at Idea Couture (now Cognizant), has been defined by a commitment to developing innovative yet appropriate solutions for systems users. Holding an MA in Media Studies from Concordia University, I bring an interpretivist perspective to digital health. My current MSc thesis research explores how patients experience hospital-to-home transitions facilitated by a novel remote patient care program. I am dedicated to uncovering the human and systemic factors that shape this critical process and to ensuring that future implementations are informed by real-world patient experiences. I am committed to supporting healthcare systems to better serve the people within them. I am passionate about driving digital transformations that put patient and provider needs at the centre. Working on collaborative and creative projects is what I enjoy most, and I pride myself on being an analytical, dynamic, and amicable team member.
