Research and Innovation Management GmbH is a consulting firm specialising in the planning, development, and implementation of research and innovation projects across Europe. We also conduct interdisciplinary research spanning a broad range of thematic areas. Appointed as an independent expert by the European Commission to evaluate research and innovation project proposals and ongoing projects under EU Framework Programmes. Responsibilities included the independent assessment of project excellence, impact, implementation quality, and compliance with programme criteria; participation in consensus meetings; drafting evaluation reports; and providing structured feedback to applicants and the Commission. Contributed to project reviews, assessing progress against objectives, deliverables, milestones, budget allocation, and expected impact. Provided evidence-based recommendations to improve project performance, strategic alignment, and exploitation pathways. Served as a member of a dedicated steering group, advising on governance, strategic direction, risk management, and performance monitoring. Contributed to high-level discussions on programme implementation and quality assurance, ensuring transparency, objectivity, and adherence to EU evaluation standards.
Design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities to assess the effectiveness, impact, and performance of specific programmes of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, and to formulate and deliver evidence-based policy and operational recommendations to support continuous improvement.
