Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland
The Aargauer Kunsthaus houses one of the most beautiful and comprehensive public collections of recent Swiss art. Like nowhere else can one encounter Swiss art in its great diversity here - from the late 18th century to the immediate present. In 2003, the architects Herzog & de Meuron, together with the artist Rémy Zaugg, expanded the building, and since then some 3000 m² of exhibition space has been available.
