The Roland Berger Gap Year targets high-potential students between their bachelor's and master's degree and consists of three components: two consulting internships at Roland Berger (one in Germany, one abroad) and one internship in a startup. My Gap Year consisted of the following stations: 1. Consulting Intern in the Competence Center "Civil Economics, Energy and Infrastructure", Roland Berger: I supported a team of consultants in a hydrogen infrastructure project. 2. Marketing Intern, Presize: I was in charge of the social media activities and content creation, and supported the team in competition and research grant applications. 3. Consulting Intern South Korea, Roland Berger: I assisted in creating project proposals and supported a benchmarking project for an automotive Tier-1 company.
As an intern in the Department of “Industrial Policy Aspects of Energy Supply, Energy Taxation and Eco Design” I conducted, among other things, an analysis of electricity prices in international comparison and created an overview of regulatory tools to improve the resource efficiency of products.
