● Responsible for the daily operation of 25-treatment room luxury resort spa, wellness and fitness department. ● Hire, train, develop and motivate team of approximately 85 associates to uphold consistent, excellent service standards with Forbes Five Star rating. ● Manage schedules to maximize treatment room utilization, oversee spa group bookings, and promote reservation accuracy and marketing initiatives to meet or exceed revenue goals ($8.5 million annually). ● Control expenses including labor, guest and operational supplies and linens to achieve profitability goals. ● Promote a culture of associate empowerment, professionalism and pride resulting in high morale, low turnover and consistent strong performance. ● Oversee sustainably efforts and green initiatives resort wide.
● Spa Division Head responsible for the planning and success of the pre-opening phase, countdown to opening and overall operation of first full-service luxury spa in downtown Los Angeles. ● Selection of professional and retail skin and body care lines, ordering of all operating supplies and equipment, purchasing of all accessories, consultation with design team throughout construction, drafting of budget and operating forecast, creation of spa menu and selection, training and development of spa workforce. ● Selected by corporate leaders as opening trainer at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe in November, 2009
