Design leader bridging industry, education and enterprise. With over 20 years’ experience across commercial creative direction, sustainable entrepreneurship and academic leadership, I’ve led campaigns for BMW, MINI, Diageo and Dyson, co-founded and scaled the certified B-Corp Green&Blue®, and served as Senior Lecturer and Industry Partner Lead in Graphic Design at Falmouth University. At Falmouth, I created and led an award-winning industry placement programme connecting students with Apple, Pentagram, BBC Creative and Dyson — embedding live briefs and professional collaboration directly into the curriculum. My work connects design thinking, employability, sustainability and enterprise, equipping graduates to move confidently into the creative industries. Alongside academic leadership, I continue to work as an Art Director on international commercial projects, ensuring my strategic and educational work remain grounded in contemporary practice. I’m particularly interested in roles that: • Strengthen industry partnerships and creative ecosystems • Reimagine placement and employability strategy • Connect sustainability, enterprise and curriculum design • Support progression into meaningful creative careers If you’re shaping ambitious, industry-connected creative programmes or strengthening partnerships between education and enterprise, I’d welcome a conversation.
As a Design & Education Consultant, I support students and recent graduates remotely with career planning, portfolio development, and employability guidance. I’m focused on strengthening the connection between design education and industry, drawing on both academic and commercial experience - including co-founding a B-Corp business - to offer insight into curriculum development, sustainability, and enterprise. I collaborate with academic and industry partners to align education with professional practice, contributing to the student experience and wider sector needs. I’m committed to advancing creative education through meaningful collaboration, innovation, and real-world relevance - and always open to connecting with others who share these interests.
As Non-Executive Director & Trustee, Young People Cornwall, I contribute to strategic oversight, governance, and inclusive youth-led initiatives. In this role, I champion creative and equitable opportunities for young people across the region, drawing on my expertise in design thinking, community engagement, and innovation.
