The Manager Project Services is responsible for delivering the expert program management support, crucial in delivering high value project works for the Customer Information Channels team. The position manages major components such as assurance and governance, program management documentation standards, baseline and controls, program budgeting status reporting, and portfolio business operations. This role has key accountability for managing a number of Project Coordinators to support the different program workstreams.

The role also provided leadership to staff delivering transactional and business support across the unit, ensuring standardised application of business processes and high quality outcomes from delivery of service.
Destination NSW is a NSW Government statutory authority with responsibility for devising and implementing strategies to grow the visitor economy. Its particular focus is on driving tourism and acquiring and developing major sporting and cultural events for Sydney and Regional NSW. Key responsibilities: * Building strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the events industry, including event owners and governing bodies, key public sector event support agencies, venue owners, sponsors and promoters to ensure DNSW investment in events is properly leveraged and realised * Oversee Destination NSW support for the Event Development Team across a range of activities and processes involved in the evaluation, selection and management of events for the Sydney & NSW Events Calendar. * Management of budgeting and forecasting for the Event Development Team, providing high level financial interface with the Company’s Corporate Services Team * Leading the tracking and realisation of event benefits and deliverables across the Event Development Team’s portfolio to drive maximum return on investment * Coach, mentor, and develop the Event Development Team’s Coordinators, enabling them to achieve business objectives in an environment with a strong internal and external customer focus * Provide operational direction and leadership to establish and maintain a culture of teamwork, achievement, accountability and outcome focus.

Owned and managed by David Atkins OAM, DAE has been producing ceremonies, arena events, musicals and live productions all over the world for over 30 years. Key responsibilities: * Liaise with co-producers of all production, including DAE representation at weekly inter-production management and production meetings * Oversee and manage budgets and financial reporting, including financial summary and profit/loss projections for each production * Prepare and provide updated materials on behalf of DAE as required for marketing of each production in the specific regions (eg, advertising, souvenir programmes, etc) * Monitor ticket sales for all productions and work with Marketing team to grow sales and build brand properties * Oversee management of amateur productions of Hot Shoe Shuffle taking place both in Australia and overseas, including external producers and royalty payments * Tour management for productions as required, including management of company travel and international visa requirements * Produce project launches and opening night functions

Key Responsibilities: * Work with Producer and Creative Director to deliver events on time and within budget * Liaise directly with Clients to ascertain business needs and objectives of the event and ensure tie-in with the Clients’ corporate identity as required. This includes the planning, implementation and development of each event * Management and control of budgets for each project * Event planning and delivery including client approvals, event branding, stakeholder and sponsor liaison and staff management * Booking of talent and crew/staff for projects as required and support to the producer in negotiation of contracts * Tour manager responsibilities, including travel, accommodation, transfers, etc for all staff, talent, crew as required for each project * Event development and business development opportunities for the company
