About

I am a Guernsey Advocate and Partner at Appleby in Guernsey. Prior to joining Appleby, I was a partner at an international law firm in Guernsey for over 15 years. I trained as an English solicitor at City firm, Withers LLP, where I worked for 10 years as a corporate and corporate finance lawyer before relocating to Guernsey in 2006. I qualified as a Guernsey Advocate in 2010. I have considerable experience in advising international and local clients and intermediaries on a wide range of mandates. I have particular expertise in banking and finance and corporate real estate matters as well as having a significant corporate and commercial practice. I also advise on the establishment and lifecycle of all types of investment structures, financial services and regulatory matters and insolvency and enforcement. I am ranked as a “Leading Individual” in the Legal 500 for Banking and Finance and have been so ranked since 2017. I am ranked as a Band 2 “Leader in their field” in Chambers UK, Europe and Global for Corporate and Finance and have been so ranked since 2017. I am also ranked as a “Women Leader” and “Highly Regarded” by IFLR. I studied Medical Sciences at Trinity College, Cambridge, before obtaining my post graduate qualification in law from London Guildhall University.
