HR Director - DSC UKI Consumer
HR Director covering the East region of the UK business. I lead a team of 25 HR Business Partners, ensuring effective HR Operational delivery, aligned to UK priorities, and enabling the implementation of new business and major change programmes.
A one year placement during the third and final year of a HR Professional Development Scheme. I was then made permanent in this role. The role involved the provision of ER advise and coaching of managers around case management; Grievance, Disciplinary, Performance Management, Absence and Employment Tribunal claims. I performed the roles across various divisions of London Underground and supported the roll out of absence management processes and improvement initiatives.
A secondment covering maternity leave. I was responsible for the development and delivery of HR Strategy and the provision of Operational HR support for the Victoria Line of London Underground. I was a driver for improved business performance, providing a focus on workplace engagement, management capability and roll out of change initiatives. A key achievement in this role was the development and delivery of a new Supervisory Development Programme.
A one year placement for year 2 of a HR Professional Development Scheme. I partnered the HR Services function for TfL and was responsible for developing and delivering a People Plan aligned to the TfL's vision and strategy. I delivered against key HR projects including a new Reward & Recognition scheme and relocation of the HR Services function.
I joined as a commercial graduate and spent time as a Field Account Manager. I moved into a Training Advisor role whilst on the programme, covering Maternity leave, which led to a permanent role as Graduate Recruitment and Development Advisor, managing the next Graduate in-take.
