Developed mission and program concepts for two virtual fundraising events in 2020, raising $2,000 and $3,500 respectively for the #FreeThemAll campaign and the Emergency Release Fund. Managed relationships with 10 human rights, advocacy and social justice orgs, walking each through the process of communicating mission for event and best practices around folding in campaign strategy to fundraising initiatives. Produced two events with zoom attendance between 75-100 per event.
Managed/coordinated the Foundation volunteer and presenter bases for all key Foundation events including: The World Science Festival, with 5,000-10,000 attendees per event. Developed and led interview strategy to identify more than 300 volunteers, facilitated candidate and follow-up training through scheduled group interviews and cold calls. Volunteer cohort size and attendees exceeded the past ten year’s key performance indicators. Was given added responsibilities assisting booking and programming multiple events for the festival. The World Science Academy, a year-long educational supplement for more than 250 NYC-based high schoolers from 18 schools with an extensive range of events: in-person seminars with 100+ attendees; outdoor festival programming open to the public; virtual STEM education events over zoom. Ensured attendance through dedicated communication with teachers and direct IM with students. Served as point of contact with STEM talent at workshops, lab tours and seminars, coordinating supply needs, transportation and communication. For more than 10 major City of Science events, managed the volunteer base, covering recruitment and interviewing; volunteer communications; and logistics and transport for 30-45 STEM professionals per event. Point of contact and lead coordinator for all virtual education programming for students during COVID-19: Key member of the Foundation team conceiving and delivering strategy and structure for virtual events including the development of a new summer 2020 pilot program for middle school- and high school- aged students. Expanded technical skills to offer tech support, liaising with remote guest educators and external partners to ensure event success.
Initially hired to enact national expansion of the Lincoln Center Local program, my success growing the program led to a position with Lincoln Center’s marketing department. Day-to-day coordination of timeline and delivery for Lincoln Center’s Performance Marketing Strategy, including the White Light Festival, Lincoln Center Outdoors and community programming through Lincoln Center Local. Liaison for inter-departmental communication between Lincoln Center’s Marketing Department, Creative Services, Programming & Production. Full ownership of Performance Marketing team reporting and weekly meeting of 15 senior staff, reporting on sales to-date, Marketing Strategy and Digital Strategy.
Facilitated Fall Gala, vetting $200k+ in 2015: managed vendor communications, outreach to committee prospects and committee members, event invitations, ad outreach for promotional materials, volunteer management. Developed new audiences (60+ shows in 54th Season), conducting extensive outreach unique to each production. Ties to students, advocacy organizations, artistic organizations, etc. Proposed/moderated five panels in 54th Season, communicating with and accommodating needs of academics, advocates and theater professionals. Proposed/facilitated three workshops, working with University staff and service- based organizations. Liaison to young donors, staff leader of La MaMa’s Junior Committee.
