I'm a well-presented and highly motivated communications professional with experience in client relations, stakeholder management, sales, sponsorship, PR and strategic marketing. I have extensive stakeholder management and engagement experience with roles that have seen me live in Dubai, London, Melbourne and now back in my hometown of Sale. As a local, I'm passionate about my work, driven to make a difference and motivated to facilitate and support the emerging offshore wind sector in the region. Corio Generation (Corio) is an Australian-owned Macquarie Group portfolio company, operating on a standalone basis. Corio prides itself on combining global expertise in offshore wind, with local knowledge and experience in Australia. Corio is developing the Great Eastern Offshore Wind project (2.5 GW) off Wellington Shire’s coast in Gippsland. At Corio, I'm responsible for establishing and maintaining regional relationships with Traditional Custodians, government, statutory, non-statutory and other key stakeholders. As a Gippsland local based in the region, I am driving collaboration with local communities, landowners, industry stakeholders and environmental groups to ensure the region’s values, impacts, concerns and opportunities are understood and delivered. Career highlights include: - Successful delivery and MC of the Gippsland New Energy Conference to showcase the $40billion projects proposed for our region. 380+ attendees, 43 keynote speakers & 24 event partners over 2 days, in my hometown of Sale. - Establishment and former MC of the Wellington Renewable Energy Forum - Awarded the International SMG Manager of the Year Award – an accolade given to the best performing employee from the Melbourne, Dubai, London or Vancouver office. The award is critiqued on performance, management, work ethic & communication and announced at an annual gala dinner in Monaco.
Wellington Shire is leading the way with supporting the uptake of large-scale renewable energy across our region. As a Council, we are welcoming the sector as an emerging and major growth industry and personally I am proud of the work we have done to facilitate and support new projects. Under my leadership, Council have initiated and implemented: - Establishment of the Wellington RE Forum (online bi-monthly meetings) to update, engage & drive outcomes for proponents, Govt agencies and other key stakeholders - Instigator & key partner delivering the Gippsland New Energy Conference (11/12th Aug) to showcase our regional projects and drive further public & private investment - Successful funding to undertake the RE Readiness & Impact study to ensure our Shire is ‘ready’ to leverage the benefits of this emerging sector - Key lead on regional, state & federal advocacy for offshore wind legislation, Gippsland REZ prioritization and other activities - Scoping of potential ’one stop shop website’ of all projects to increase information sharing and create better social license outcomes - Attraction & facilitation of numerous new energy projects ($40 billion in investment for Gippsland with majority in our Shire). In this MED role, I'm also responsible for agriculture, commercial property, retail, industry investment marketing, events, tourism and RENEWABLE ENERGY.
The primary objective of this Gippsland-wide role was to promote and showcase the $7 billion per annum food and fibre sector by leveraging and marketing the region's agricultural strengths.
Full of Grace started in 2011 when I returned home from living overseas and found it difficult to buy a nutritious and healthy alternative for breakfast. I started making my own granola which led to the launch of my business, Full of Grace. The granola is ACO certified organic, handmade with local ingredients and sold in 5kg wholesale bags suitable for cafes and 400g retail boxes for independent grocers. Under my reign, Full of Grace granola was available in all Australian capital cities and exported to Dubai and Singapore. The Full of Grace company was sold in August 2018.
