I’m a licensed clinical social worker who’s passionate about helping new and expecting parents and parents of children with special medical needs thrive. Since receiving my Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, I’ve been committed to supporting children and families in a variety of settings, including mental health centers and community organizations. It was through my work in hospitals helping individuals and couples feel emotionally supported during pregnancy and the first years after birth, that I truly found my niche. My specialty areas include: pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, perinatal mental health, fetal diagnosis, pregnancy loss, newborn hospitalization, and parenting a medically complex infant or child. Using evidence-based practices, I provide an affirming and safe space for clients to share and explore their feelings and experiences. I hold a Certificate in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International which means I’ve completed specialized training to diagnosis and treat mood and anxiety disorders in pregnancy and the postpartum period. I continually seek learning opportunities to stay engaged in current research and best clinical practices.
