Project: Microfluidic platform design for molecular and immunoassays; design and development of single-use cartridges used on Point of Care Testing with all wet and dry chemistries integrated on-board allowing the detection of infectious diseases and other biomarkers by multiplex real time syndromic testing. -Prototype development; from early development phase of prototype until verification and validation of final product -Wet and dry chemistry integration on microfluidic platform design to detect nucleic acids by multiplex RT-PCR and selected antigens by immunoassay following CE and FDA marked product quality standards and requirements -Design, execution and analysis, as well as final report writing, for CE-IVD and FDA Validation and Verification studies -Creating and compiling documentation for global registrations (e.g. US FDA, CE-IVDD, CE-IVDR) -Planning and executing Work Package specific activities to achieve the goals and meet the deadlines -Working in a multidisciplinary team built of system engineers and biomedical scientists developing the assay and Quality Control establishment on cartridge according to CE and FDA guidelines -Writing protocols and standard operating procedures under quality management system ISO13485
