Brussels Metropolitan Area
I analyse why goals aren't met, and then implement the necessary change. Whether it is in the organisations I rebuild, in policies I rewrite, or in communication I reorient. My natural habitat is the EU/Brussels bubble. Here, politics and business intersect in a treacherous maze of cultural, institutional, and ideological pitfalls, with more participants than in any other arena on the planet. Yes, even more than Washington. So you’d better be good at: 1️⃣ listening & observing, 2️⃣ cutting out the noise, 3️⃣ finding what unites, 4️⃣ aligning on the priority (please don’t have 140), 5️⃣ identifying the needed capabilities and setting the right team, 6️⃣ finding a unique and clear voice, 7️⃣ disciplined execution, 8️⃣ admitting what doesn’t work, and 9️⃣ being adaptable. Some people see many steps ahead on the chessboard. Some see the perfect angle on the pool table. Some see the gap in the market. I see where organisations fail on the nine points above, and I know how to change it successfully. Access to medicines is where I am currently making a difference.
