Developed a complete business plan for local organic grocery chain in Denmark. Raised 500,000 DKK in equity and led financing meetings with banks and other potential investors and loan givers based on detailed financial budgets. Defined products groups, identified suppliers and negotiated initial supplier agreements. Created local market survey and collected responses from 400 people with the support of the market research company Norstat. The company was terminated due to insufficient capital available for launch.
Implemented regional and cross-border artwork management process to support Carlsberg’s ONE brewery vision in WE enabling a more efficient and agile supply chain integrated with local and global marketing departments. Implemented new business processes and IT tool for artwork management across 17 countries in Western Europe region reducing complexity and cost. Responsible and accountable for the strategic relationship with our pre-press supplier and for the operational relationships with design agencies in the artwork process. Responsible for assessment of potential for new artwork management process in Asia and Eastern Europe regions.
Managed the project portfolio consisting of 20+ projects and evaluated, prioritised and assigned potential projects to team members. Successfully implemented a standard project management approach in the on-boarding team ensuring more efficient interactions with stakeholders and internal knowledge sharing. Overall accountable for transfer of direct material spend and suppliers to new operating model in line with roll-out of Carlsberg’s Business Standardisation project and procurement strategy. Led the operational and legal transfer of 700+ suppliers across multiple countries and ensured cross-border and cross-functional alignment on processes. Accountable for the performance and development of the on-boarding team. Supported the professional and personal development of team members resulting in promotions for two members.
Project managed the transfer of 40 suppliers and €70 million spend from local to central operating model. Led 4 other projects focused on transferring specific procurement categories into a centralised operating model ensuring standardised processes across local organisations resulting in increased efficiency and flexibility across the procurement organisations. Analysed procurement categories and developed proposals for centralisation. Supported design and creation of procurement e-Tender for 30+ suppliers within raw materials category.
Performed valuation of prospective clients based on multiples models through comparable transactions and comparable company analyses. Successfully identified potential strategic investors based on financial and strategic fit with the client company. Conducted business and industry analyses to create company profiles highlighting investment rationale for investor presentations. Built the equity story for on-going sell-side mandate as part of project team.
Managed project teams in the design and implementation of internal business protocols to accommodate heavy growth period during which turnover increased from $7m to $15m. Successfully led 5 people in the Customer Service and Warehouse teams, including assigning job responsibilities and training. Managed the product line of medical rental equipment and increased asset utilisation rate, which saved the company $120,000 in budgeted capital equipment expenditure. Lowered inventory levels and improved cash flow through development of models to analyse past sales and forecast future product requirements. Executed and approved the purchase of direct and indirect materials within a budget of $5m.
