Major Accomplishments • Launched Supply Chain Marketplace – Envisioned, developed and launched first-of-its-kind wholesale B2B e-commerce marketplace for the $670 billion US food distribution industry that at its peak had thousands of restaurants transacting with over 500 suppliers carrying millions of products on the platform. • Fundraising – Raised millions in funding for the first ever e-commerce food distribution marketplace from a venture capital firm, angel investors and a government agency. • Rapid Customer Onboarding – Signed up and on-boarded over 50 major food distribution companies and farms in the Mid-Atlantic region within five months of product launch which well exceeded the timeline to onboard such customers. • Nominated for the 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
