I’m a data-driven problem solver with a background in Informatics from Indiana University's Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. I am passionate about turning complex data into clear, actionable insights and my work sits at the intersection of technology, business, and design; where I thrive in translating information into strategies that create measurable impact. I bring technical skills in Python, SQL/MySQL, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud APIs, alongside strengths in Agile product management, stakeholder engagement, and market analysis. Over the past few years, I'm grateful to have applied these skills across biotech, AI, and user centered design. Colleagues know me for being detail-oriented, collaborative, and focused on delivering results that matter. Looking ahead, I’m eager to contribute in roles that combine data analysis, product strategy, and innovation; helping organizations make smarter, evidence based decisions.
• Developed interactive Power BI dashboards and reports by sourcing data from SAP into Snowflake, ensuring timely and accurate month end reporting. PowerBI hosted via Microsoft Fabric. • Partnered with finance leadership to migrate critical reporting from Qlik to Power BI, improving usability through dynamic slicers, KPIs, and visually cohesive layouts aligned to corporate branding. • Implemented robust QA processes (Power Query transformations, model relationship checks, refresh validation) to resolve discrepancies and enhance trust in reporting accuracy. • Enriched enterprise metadata using Dataedo, translating technical SAP field names into clear business definitions to strengthen data governance and usability across teams. • Primary point of contact between business stakeholders and vendors, logging and resolving support tickets while translating business requirements into technical solutions. • Coordinated sprint planning, backlog tracking, and progress reporting in Azure DevOps, to ensure visibility and accountability across deliverables. • Acted as liaison between finance managers, data engineers, and IT support to ensure alignment on reporting priorities.
My time at Agragene was spent working on a web portal for our lab technicians to document their operations and keep records of many different factors that culminate the gene editing process. ● Collaborated closely with lab technicians to understand the entire Cas9/V19B gene editing process, ensuring the web portal accurately captures and supports their workflow. ● Developed the backend of the web portal using RestAPI and Spring Framework, enabling seamless data management and retrieval for the gene editing process. ● Designed and implemented the frontend of the web portal using Angular, creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface for lab technicians to record and track their work.
● Worked alongside lab technicians to understand the customer experience when submitting samples for sequencing. ● Developed a crucial backend API that introduced CRUD functionalities and security configurations to a database of samples submitted by customers. ● Implemented a frontend customer portal that works in tandem with the backend API and allows customers to interact with their sequencing records. ● Educated myself in important development frameworks like 'REST', 'Spring Boot', 'Angular', 'Flask', etc.
During this internship, I was tasked with researching and understanding the need for an insectary local to the St. Louis area: ● Developed a database of insects and their respective uses within entomology and agriculture. ● Understood the market value of insects based on the pricing of other commercial insect providers as well as the needs of their customers. ● Conducted interviews with local entomologists and companies that would be in need of insect rearing and bioassay services. ● Presented my research along with a viable business plan to potential investors on the BioGenerator board.
● Installed and maintained IU Bloomington's computer systems and network. ● Provided technical assistance to customers on inbound telephone tech support calls as well as in person trouble-shooting. ● Used remote access to perform troubleshooting when needed. ● Built and installed PC configurations for the IU Bloomington Campus.
