Since secondary school, the financial sector is one of my major interests in life. The dynamics and magnitude of the financial sector's impact on society fascinates me. This lead to graduating with distinction in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science at Tilburg University. During my studies, I developed analytical skills that made me deepen my financial interest. Besides developing my analytical skills, I focused on developing my soft skills by breaking financial concepts down. without oversimplifying them, when solving or presenting a project. In my professional career, I first focussed on improving my coding skills by automating existing manual frameworks to (web-)tools. Later, I combined this skill with actuarial decision-making based on my data-driven analyses.
