Circuit analysis, fault finding, repairs and product testing up to 400V at one or two stage power converters. It included finding common problems to find design optimisations. Most work has been done on a 4kW two stage inverter, which converts an input of 55-83 VDC to an output of 240 VAC.

  • Research Engineer at ARC Center of Excellence for Autonomous Systems
    Jul 2013 - Sep 2013 · 3 mos

Developed algorithms in C++ and Python and applying unit testing to different projects. For a mining device using thread programming, UDP communication, OpenCV and low- level programming to communicate over UART with Atmel μ-controller in an ARM pro- cessor based environment (Colibri T20).

      Jan 2013 - Mar 2013 · 3 mos

Developed algorithms in C++ and Python and applying unit testing to different projects. In a robot platform, which interacts with humans, expert knowledge in Robot Operating System (ROS) was required as the base for signal processing using PCL data provided by a 3D camera. Also designed a 3D URDF model for realtime robot monitoring for this platform in ROS. Also contribution to a robot manipulation project for online learning and modulation of periodic movements with nonlinear dynamic systems.

    • Internship
      Sep 2012 - Dec 2012 · 4 mos

Wrote a robot arm driver for ROS environment in C++ to provide standard ROS interfaces. The arm later was integrated to a robot.
