As Production Manager at Prodrive Technologies, I led a team of 150 people (of which 20 direct reports) working on the SMD Department. Focus was on building a strong team and improving effectiveness through both the implementation of a sound daily performance structure and long-term improvements with respect to (among other things) team structure, quality measures and operating procedures
Led a team of 20 employees in the Logistics Department of Livit Orthopedie. While responsible for the day-to-day operations in purchasing and logistics, I was working on both short and long-term efficiency improvements. Biggest achievement was creating the right environment and structure in which the team was able to flourish. Through coaching and mentoring, performance steadily increased and the team continuously became more self-reliant
Transitioned from HAL Investments to its (former) portfolio company Livit Orthopedie to apply and develop my skills in a more practical environment. I was involved in many strategic initiatives such as the implementation of a new ERP system, the post-merger integration into (current shareholder) Ottobock and general process improvement in our production facility. Biggest achievement is setting up an efficient ordering process for our B2B clients and laying the foundations for our customer service team
Worked as an associate at the Rotterdam-based private equity firm HAL Investments. In this function, I was involved in the financial and operational analysis of a wide range of new investment opportunities as well as the management of portfolio companies. Working at HAL Investments, I strongly improved my business sense and gained significant experience in assessing financial performance
As an intern in one of BMW's manufacturing plants in Munich, I learned about the different manufacturing techniques that are used in the production process of BMW. This included learning to weld, drill and a variety of other techniques to produce the tooling required for the production of sheet metal parts that are used in BMW's cars
