- Political analysis and advise mainly of reports negotiated in the Committee of Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament, cooperation with NGOs and other stakeholders - Providing information on these issues to MEPs and members of the German Parliament, to the broader public and specialists - Preparing debates on these issues and amendments to the respective reports; participating in parliamentary negotiations and trialogues between EP, Council and European Commission Communications: maintaining contact to journalists and NGOs, preparation of press releases, editing the monthly newsletter of Jürgen Klute MEP - Participation in discussions and providing presentations on ongoing legislative processes and principles of the EU - Organisation of visits to the European Parliament
