Charlin (now Jane) is a corporate venture of Belfius bank and BCG DV that helps senior citizens remain independent at home by monitoring health and wellbeing using IoT and Machine Learning. As a part of the leadership team my responsibility is to craft a compelling product vision by leading other designers (UX/UI) to provide user-based and evidence based input and validation. Movify is a leading Belgian consulting company specialising in design and development of digital products. Over the course of my time at Movify, as Head of UX I managed to achieve the following: - Established Movify brand as design experts by building design culture, coaching and mentoring designers; - Grew the team from 2 to 15 designers (UX, UI, service design) by participating in the hiring process; - Used evaluation process that helped creatives get needed support and training; - Evangelised design by organising regular design meet-up and other design related events. While working with Movify, I worked on clients’ projects for major Belgian banks including BNP Paribas Fortis, ING, Belfius. I did it by establishing lean UX approach to product design and enabled cross-team collaboration for successful go-to market. I used research to formulate hypothesis and define communication strategies, run design sprints or design thinking workshop to generate product concepts and validate the concepts with users. Used analytics, A/B testing and customer feedback to improve products and efficiency of the marketing campaigns (re-targeting, channel selection, content strategy).
