Cardiologist, involved in epidemiological research with focus in heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and cardiovascular prevention. Head of the Department of Population Medicine and Civilisation Diseases Prevention. After studies, that included attachments in Harvard Medical School, Heidelberg University, St. Thomas’ School of Medicine in London and St. George’s School of Medicine in London graduated from Medical University of Białystok in 1999. From 2001 has been working in the Department of Cardiology Medical University of Białystok, where in 2005 defended PhD thesis. Research fellowships in experimental cardiology in Harvard Medical School and Hannover Medical School. Fellow of European Society of Cardiology, recipient of multiple awards from Polish Society of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, Ministry of Health, Rector of Medical University of Bialystok. In 2013 received Ministry of Science scholarship postgraduate course in Science, Commercialization and Innovation in Stanford University. From 2012 Vice-Dean of Medical Faculty of Medical University of Bialystok.
