I’m known for my approachable style, track record for driving organizational transformation, and business growth. At Vestmark, we’re working to reshape what’s possible in financial services. My team and I have reinvented the firm from a single solution provider with a narrow focus to an innovative, multi-solution provider across wealth management, asset management, and registered investment advisors. We help our clients drive their firm valuation by reducing costs, increasing assets, and boosting revenue with efficient solutions that evolve alongside changing business needs and client expectations. At Vestmark we aren’t just a technology provider, we’re your long-term growth partner. Prior to joining Vestmark, I was chief executive of Lefteris Acquisition Corporation, a fintech-focused SPAC. That followed my time at E*TRADE Financial Corporation, where I was CEO and a member of the board of directors, returning billions of dollars to shareholders through buybacks, dividends, and executing strategic acquisitions. I was also president and served on the board of directors for E*TRADE Bank where I led the company and the bank through multiple restructuring and reorganization transactions. Outside of work, I’m a husband to an amazing wife and the father of two wonderful sons. One a recent graduate of Northwestern and the other is heading to Georgetown. I’m an avid baseball fan (both of my boys played at a very high level), and I enjoy food, wine, and fitness (necessitated by my love of food and wine). Set vision and led the strategic direction of E*TRADE Financial Corporation and its subsidiaries and served as a member of the board of directors of E*TRADE Financial Corporation and E*TRADE Bank as well as President of E*TRADE Bank. Some highlights included: • Delivered billions of dollars of improvement in market capitalization • Returned billions of dollars to shareholders through buybacks and dividends • Significantly grew revenue and expanded operating margin • Executed key acquisitions and integrations to augment and enhance customer offerings • Reinvigorated an iconic brand through a new national promotional campaign
Oversaw and directed all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters of E*TRADE Financial Corporation and its subsidiaries. Served as corporate Secretary to the board of directors of E*TRADE Financial Corporation and E*TRADE Bank. Key highlights included: • Advised the board and counseled management during a four-year period with an activist shareholder representative as a board member • Led and advised the company through multiple restructuring and reorganization transactions • Restructured the legal, bank, and brokerage compliance departments through Dodd-Frank financial reforms • Central point of communication with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and multiple Federal, state, and international securities regulators
