Karl Clement is a Forward Deployed Engineer at Sourcegraph, where he builds AI coding agents for enterprise customers. He works directly with Sourcegraph’s largest customer to deploy modern coding agents powered by Amp, Sourcegraph’s new enterprise-grade agent platform. His focus is on bringing cutting-edge AI assistance into real-world developer workflows at scale. Previously, Karl co-founded Squire AI, where he architected an advanced code review system that leveraged LLMs and custom agents to automatically analyze pull requests on GitHub, detecting security vulnerabilities, performance issues, and potential system reliability risks. His technical achievements include designing distributed agent systems using LangGraph and serverless architecture, while building enterprise-grade infrastructure that met rigorous SOC2 compliance standards. He built the production infrastructure to host these agents using platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.
