About

In 1994 I won the IEEE National Programming Competition with NatSys — a complete operating system with natural language understanding and heuristic virus detection, built when AI was still largely confined to academic research. That work established the direction of everything that followed. Since 1996 I have specialized in Oracle performance optimization at a depth most DBAs never reach. I've resolved problems that Oracle's own partners couldn't solve, for organizations like Kellogg worldwide, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, the WHO, Pemex, Coca-Cola, and FedEx. In 2007 Oracle named us Technology Partner of the Year. The Mexico Country Manager called us directly when no one else could fix it. I've founded 6 companies across Oracle consulting, data security, fintech, and machine vision. I designed a data hardening methodology of 14 categories and 400+ security tests specifically for Oracle environments. I walked away from one company the day its buyers introduced corrupt practices. Today I lead Braingine, applying machine vision and AI to warehouses, supply chains, and industrial plants — making measurable what organizations have never been able to see before. Three patents — Heimdal for AI productivity and fraud detection, URD for AI cybersecurity, and Monetizing Innovation for structured AI implementation. Together they cover the full enterprise AI challenge: build efficiently, operate securely, implement successfully. What connects all of it is the ability to translate — between technical depth and business consequence, between what systems can do and what organizations actually need. Operations across Mexico, the US, Central America, Canada, the UK, and Switzerland. Presidential recognition for Mexico's most innovative services model. Fluent in four languages: Spanish, English, German, and French. I invest 31% of company income in R&D because I've seen firsthand — across the US, Mexico, the US, Switzerland, and Germany — how much talent exists where opportunity doesn't reach it. Technology, applied ethically, changes that. That's what drives the work.

  • Ethical Security Data Hacker at EBA - Sociedad de Emprendedores
    Jun 2009 - Dec 2009 · 7 mos

Dedicated six months exclusively to designing a data hardening methodology for Oracle environments. The result: 14 categories, 400+ security tests covering Oracle Database, WebLogic, eBusiness Suite, and ASM. The premise was that infrastructure and network security were well covered — data itself was not. That gap is where 80% of attacks actually land. This methodology became the foundation for the data security practice at Expertos en Sistemas.

  • CEO and CoFounder at Resource IT de México SC
    Mar 2003 - Jun 2009 · 6 yrs 4 mos

Built and led an Oracle specialist firm that grew to a team of 200. Oracle Mexico's Country Manager called us directly when their own partners couldn't resolve client problems — we became the escalation point for the country's most complex Oracle environments. Clients included Pemex, Televisa, Santander, Banamex, HSBC, IBM, Danone, and two G7 defense ministries. In 2006 President Vicente Fox awarded us Mexico's most innovative services model. That same year we were selected for FUMEC's inaugural TechBA cohort. In 2007 Oracle named us Technology Partner of the Year, operating as Prime across 47% of their verticals. Sold the company. Resigned the day the buyers introduced corrupt practices.
