BASF’s site in Sandefjord focuses on: -Producing high-concentration Omega-3 for pharmaceutical and nutritional use -Operating advanced purification and quality control processes -Playing a key role in BASF’s global Omega-3 value chain with close links to R&D and innovation My responsibilities: -Support digitalization initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and technical data handling -Assist with mechanical and engineering-related tasks, including layout planning and equipment checks -Lead the planning and coordination of the site’s open-door event, acting as project manager across multiple departments -Structure and implement project tools such as timelines, risk assessments, and stakeholder alignment frameworks -Apply professional project management methods to drive real-world execution, visibility, and cross-functional collaboration
-The main tasks of financial controlling include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and cost center planning to ensure effective financial management. -The objective of cost center planning is to achieve transparent and precise recording and analysis of production costs for the Styrol factory over a one-year period. My responsibilities: -Conduct cost center planning for a production cost center for the current fiscal year, providing valuable insights into operational efficiency and financial performance. -Support fixed cost analysis to identify and manage overhead costs, enabling informed decision-making. -Create dashboards in Power BI to visualize key metrics and facilitate real-time monitoring of costs and resource allocation. -Execute independent analyses to compare planned figures with actual results, ensure accurate maintenance of cost centers, and leverage data transformation through dataflows to improve the efficiency of data processing.
