I am a Bioengineer with a solid foundation in both academic research and industrial practice. My internship experiences have equipped me with strong skills in cell culture, aseptic techniques, and GMP-compliant validation processes. Working on QA and R&D projects has given me a dual perspective: ensuring regulatory compliance while contributing to innovative product development. During university, I participated in research projects, including cell culture studies and purification techniques in a TÜBİTAK-supported project, which further fueled my interest in bioprocessing. Through internships, I discovered my passion for laboratory environments, particularly where upstream process development and optimization are central. These experiences strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills and confirmed my enthusiasm for a career in biopharmaceutical R&D, with a focus on upstream process development. I am eager to contribute to teams driving innovation in biopharma and applying scientific knowledge to practical solutions.
TÜBİTAK 2209-A Research Project : Investigation of the Anti-Leishmania Effect of Rosehip Oil Obtained by Different Distillation Methods
- Gained hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture using HEK293 and CHO cell lines. - Assisted in media preparation with chemically defined media. - Learned the operation principles of a 10L single-use bioreactor (Cytiva). - Participated in bioprocess experiments (batch, fed-batch, and perfusion). - Performed qPCR and agarose gel electrophoresis for molecular analysis. - Ensured aseptic practices and compliance with biosafety and laboratory standards.
