My research focuses on the ethics of (bio)medical technologies. In particular I'm interested in ethical questions about digital health and medical AI for which I received amongst others an NWO Vidi grant. I am one of the founding members of the bi-monthly filmclub: 'Cine qua Non' to foster interdisciplinary debate at the Julius Center, I am a member of the Research Ethics Board of UMC Utrecht and a member of the Utrecht Young Academy and De Jonge Akademie.
