Since March 2017, Karin Anna Hummel is an Associate Professor at JKU Linz, Department of Telecooperation. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at JKU Linz, Marie Curie Fellow at ETH Zurich, Communication Systems Group, and a University Assistant (post-doc) at the University of Vienna, Distributed Systems Group. She received her PhD from the Vienna University of Technology in 2005. Her research interests are focused on - location- and mobility-awareness - data-driven characterization and modeling of human mobility - wireless communications and mobile networking: ad-hoc and opportunistic networks - micro unmanned aerial vehicle systems and networks - self-organization of networked systems - energy-efficient networking More information can be found at http://www.karinannahummel.info/
