With over 20 years of experience in policy, public affairs, and communications, I lead the teams that shape and deliver BVCA's strategic vision and objectives for the UK's private equity and venture capital investment sector. I am passionate about advancing the industry's contribution to the economy, society, and innovation, and building trust and understanding among key stakeholders, including government, regulators, media, and the public. In my previous role as the Senior Manager of Public Policy and Economic Graph at LinkedIn, I was responsible for engaging with policymakers and regulators on the future of tech regulation, and leveraging LinkedIn's data insights on the UK economy to inform and influence skills development and employment opportunities. I also served as an Advisory Board Member for the Unit for Future Skills at the Department for Education, where I advised on the use of data and trends to support regional and local skills provision. I have strong media, public speaking, and engagement skills, and have appeared on live broadcast and in parliament on behalf of major companies.
