Create and manage content for internal channels, including direct communications, newsletters, the intranet, and website. Proficient in SharePoint, Workshop, Staffbase, Enplug, Optimizely/Episerver, Hootsuite, X, LinkedIn, TagEmbed and Qbank.
Serve as a strategic partner in developing and implementing internal communications. Serve as BAO for intranet, weekly newsletter, enterprise-wide internal communications planning, content development and employee resource groups communications.
Supported MISO’s government and regulatory affairs team, focusing on meetings and events, coordination with customers, state and federal agencies, utility commission staff, speaking engagements, and serving as a point of contact for industry associations with which MISO sponsored or participated. Managed on-site meetings at national and regional conferences, including NARUC and MARC. Coordinate with conference hosts, hotels, and event venues; create invitations; track registrations; correspond with state and federal commissions and MISO member customers; and oversee on-site meeting logistics. Served as secretary of the External Relations Committee, coordinating agendas, tracking action items, monitoring subcommittee activities, and maintaining records. Managed the MISO emergency distribution list for state utility commissions, governors, and state emergency management agencies within MISO’s 15-state region.
Responsible for executive schedule management, local and international travel, legal records coordination (Patent Applications, Powers of Attorney, legal filings and document organization and retention) and weekly executive sales reports and presentations, maintaining confidential information on behalf of the CEO and President. Provide Marketing support drafting presentations and managing promotions including coordination of external contract associates and trade events locally and nationally. Responsible for office operations including annual corporate travel budgeting and booking, operational expenses, expansion budgeting and furniture purchasing, planning and facilitating of monthly and annual corporate events and coordination of corporate charity involvement. Assist CEO with additional private businesses located in Indiana and Florida and managed personal staff and property expenses at a private estate.
Human Resources and Operations coordinator facilitating new hire set up, distributing and managing company equipment; maintaining confidential employee records and organizational charts. Assisted with annual review of company Policy and Procedures handbook including development of new company policies and procedures and creation of job description/function and analysis of positions within the organization. Managed office budget, vendor relationships and contract negotiations including office supplies, phone system, corporate vehicle fleet, cell phones and office equipment. Managed the relocation of the corporate headquarters, assisting with construction/design and project/move management of 25,000 sf office. Directly responsible for the RFP process for furniture purchase, selection and installation of $800,000 furniture purchase from multiple vendors.
Supported Vice President of Office Leasing and the Senior Leasing Representative serving as primary contact for prospective and existing tenants and Real Estate brokers. Responsible for meetings, property tours and showings, broker events, open houses, networking events, prepare monthly expense reports, travel arrangements, prepare legal documentation and manage inter-departmental correspondence between leasing, construction, legal and marketing. Maintained property database in addition to Co-Star and Xceligent multi-listing databases. Maintain CADD files for all Indiana Office properties by corresponding with external vendors and updating/distributing all revisions and changes. Supported Property Management in maintaining 100+ -member fitness centers, conference room booking/billing and janitorial order reconciliation.
Licensed Leasing Assistant to the Executive Vice President, Vice President of Land Brokerage, Vice President of Office Leasing, Director of Project Manager and several brokers. Prepared marketing materials, presentations and lease documents, coordinate meetings and property tours related to the selling and/or leasing of commercial properties. Responsible for quarterly market statistics reports pertaining to vacancies, rental rates and absorption of office space within the Indianapolis market for 400 + office properties.
