Report to the Group HRD in Global FTSE 100 Organisation with c13bn turnover and 40,000 employees. In this global organisation development role I was accountable for development of Group HR Strategy with the Group HRD and Regional HRDs. Developed and introduced new global capability frameworks for General Managers. Introduced frameworks to help business units accelerate their Pricing and Digital capability.
Member of the executive leadership team of this £1.8bn business which turned a period of decline into strong growth following recession. As part of the recovery plans developed new capabilities to enter new markets and work in digital channels. Achieved external recognition for the people strategy, winning national HR awards for Talent Management, Employee Benefits, HR Communications and Pension Scheme of the Year.
Joined this £100m turnover start up retailer after acquisition by the Wolseley Group. Key role in transition from independent own brand retailer to business unit within corporate structure, while retaining the unique Bathstore culture and brand.
Reported to the UK MD in a de-centralised division with c5000 employees across c100 franchised car dealerships representing mainly luxury brands and revenue of £1.6bn.
