• Develops new deployment solutions, automates processes, maintains, and enhances source control and configuration management system. • Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements, and assists with setting project/task expectations. • Conducts analysis to determine integration needs. • Maintains and monitors cloud infrastructure used as innovations test bed for Veteran's Affairs and Department of Defense (DoD) healthcare. • Performs maintenance, guidance, design, and troubleshooting of continuous build/deployment systems. • Conducts security risk assessments, identifies, and analyzes threats and vulnerabilities maintain an appropriate level of protection. • Builds out and maintains continuous integration services, such as code repositories with automated build capability, automated test components, etc. • Supports and develops new deployment solutions, automates processes, maintains, and enhances source control and configuration management systems, and owns escalated technical issues through to resolution. • Conducts bi-weekly system instruction and demonstrations to all internal and external project stakeholders.
• Recommends and implements changes to development, operations, and web application teams supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Defense Combating Terrorism Center (DCTC). • Troubleshoots and integrates developed artifacts, creates software installation scripts, provides operations support, maintenance, and quality assurance on hybrid Windows and Linux test and production environments. • Develops and integrates Nagios and Puppet solutions into development environment. • Streamlines and automates processes, patching requirements, access controls, system monitoring and hardening to improve system quality and efficiency of operations.
• Designs, defines, and implements complex total system requirements for Red Hat, Solaris, and Windows Systems for Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) • Maintains, monitors, and implements software integration to service-oriented architecture used as a primary interface for data sources and mission support applications. • Collaborates with developers, software engineers, and hardware technicians to ensure accessibility, security, and discoverability throughout the Intelligence Community (IC). • Leads initiative to research and implement a disaster recovery solution for multi-datacenter physical and virtualized servers. • Provides training on GOTS technology to incoming personnel and performs system refresher training for current team members.
