Working with Dr Grant O'Connell and Christine Smothers on studying stroke biomarkers for diagnostic purposes. Investigating clinical predictors of stroke and stroke severity alongside the efficacy of biomarkers for different ethnic cohorts.
Working on multiple systematic reviews under the direction of Dr. Siobhan Aaron. 1. A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Bereaved/African American Grief of those who Lost and Individual from a Serious or Chronic Illness. 2. Caregivers of individuals living in nursing homes with ADRD
Working in Dr. Barbara Engelhardt's lab to use machine learning to align spatial genomic expression data from mouse brain slices.
I'm working with Dr. Matthew Smith on the effect of Alzheimer's Retinal Ganglion Cells and pursuing them as a biomarker for neurodegeneration. Performed immunofluorescence assays, a confocal microscope, sectioned brain tissue, and created figures for a manuscript.
