During my time at Year Up, I was exposed to financial operations. Through them I began an internship at State Street Corporation on the Risk and Compliance team. Coming from a customer service/hospitality background it was a very nice change and I hope to continue to expand my knowledge in the world of finance.

- Managed the daily Volcker process, which included: checking funds against the restricted covered fund database, maintaining a daily fund tracker, and communicating with business units to update funds within the database - Developed tracker for new General Data Protection Regulation program to summarize data & upload data to support other teams - Contributed in developing and updating “Standard of Procedures” to assist with procedures and policies for other staff
