I am a final-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at Amity Law School, Noida, specialising in Business Laws, with a strong academic foundation and diverse internship experience across corporate advisory, commercial litigation, and dispute resolution. My training has enabled me to develop a well-rounded understanding of legal practice, combining technical research skills with a structured and commercially aware approach to problem-solving. I have had the opportunity to intern with leading law firms and institutions including Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, HSA Advocates, Singhania & Partners LLP, and the chambers of Justice Ujjal Bhuyan at the Supreme Court of India. Through these experiences, I have worked on matters involving regulatory compliance under the Companies Act, FEMA, and FDI Policy, labour and employment frameworks under the new Labour Codes, insolvency and arbitration laws, and complex commercial disputes. My work has included legal research, drafting of contracts and notices, due diligence, compliance assessments, and assisting in litigation strategy. My mooting experience, including securing positions such as Winner and Best Speaker at national-level competitions, along with my role as President of the Moot Court Society, has strengthened my analytical thinking, written advocacy, and ability to perform under pressure. I have also contributed to academic publications on gender justice, labour rights, and human rights, reflecting my interest in the intersection of law and social impact. I am particularly interested in corporate and commercial practice areas that require precision, sound legal reasoning, and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks. Researched foreign investment and regulatory frameworks, including FDI norms under Press Notes 3 (2020) and 2 (2026) governing land-border investments, proposed amendments to the FCRA relating to foreign contribution timelines, and compliance requirements for Managing Director re-appointment along with associated penalties. Analysed judicial precedents concerning the court's authority to set aside excessive loan interest rates, evidentiary admissibility of auto-recorded application data, and the binding nature of statements under Section 217(4) of the Companies Act, 2013, as well as before investigative authorities including SFIO and Customs Officers. Examined the professional liability of Chartered Accountants in relation to due diligence obligations under Form 15CA/CB of the Income Tax Act, 1961, including MCA's prosecution powers, judicial standards governing misconduct penalties, and violations of principles of natural justice in disciplinary proceedings conducted without affording a hearing.
Research work on the new Labour Codes covering worker classification, employment regulation, equal remuneration, social security, maternity benefits, labour protections, dispute resolution, and retrenchment mechanisms. Drafted a standard warning notice addressing employee misconduct in compliance with company bye-laws. Researched legal frameworks and guidelines for influencer engagement contracts in NGO collaborations involving pro bono social media promotion for women upliftment. Examined statutes, procedure, and compliances for shifting a company’s registered office from one state to another. Researched the statutory framework for refund of foreign exchange received erroneously; prepared notes on outward remittances (Form A2), Companies Act compliances (including Sections 92 and 118), and regulatory filings supported by applicable circulars and purpose codes. Analysed penalties under the Companies Act, 2013 and FEMA for delayed filings (FC-GPR, MGT-7A, FC-TRS) and non-maintenance of board and meeting records. Researched foreign investment regulations, including FDI Policy amendments under Press Note 3 of 2020 and updates under Press Note 2 of 2026, as well as the FCRA Amendment framework and MHA guidelines on utilisation timelines for foreign contributions. Examined legal provisions governing re-appointment of Managing Directors and penalties for non-compliance. Researched redundancy and employee rights, including compensation, reinstatement, and maternity benefits (with Haryana-specific applicability). Conducted policy review and updates across corporate, FEMA, labour, and POSH compliance frameworks. Undertook due diligence and compliance assessments under the Delhi and Telangana Shops and Establishments Acts, and reviewed offer letters, board resolutions, and internal documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
Researched on probate jurisdiction and pan-India effect of High Court probate u/s 273 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925; admissibility of rebuttal and expert evidence u/s 19 & 26, jurisdictional objections u/s 16, enforceability of unstamped or insufficiently stamped arbitration agreements, and grounds for setting aside awards under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996; pecuniary jurisdiction and specified value computation under Section 12(2) of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015; and Researched on the legal status of part-payment homebuyers without allotment letters under insolvency law and the statutory/title documents required to be furnished by builders at possession.
Researched on copyright in sound recordings, director liability, licensing, locus standi, and statutory compliance; examined Sections 21 and 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, limitation, and lease-related arbitral awards, and prepared structured case briefs. Worked on employment and commercial issues including enforcement of employment bonds, franchise and tender breaches, trade secret misuse, and unfair competition. Assisted in cheque-dishonor matters involving proclaimed offenders, non-registration of FIRs through RTI applications and complaints, rent- control eviction disputes involving co-owners, executability of HUF family settlement decrees, and customs classification disputes under Section 128A (3) of the Customs Act.
