🚀 Currently: - Lead Regaal Resources Limited, Eastern India's largest maize-based specialty ingredient manufacturer, with a processing capacity of 1,650 TPD. - Founded Synergy Workspaces, a managed office space company in Eastern India with 50,000 sq. ft. operational. Today, a professional team runs the business. - Angel investor in 31 startups. I do this largely out of a passion for entrepreneurship and continuous learning. - Partner at SVP Kolkata and Charter Member at TiE Kolkata. I do this to give back in my own small way. 📊 Previously: - Worked at Goldman Sachs, GMO, and Ratnabali Capital in investment and research roles. - Launched NUImpact Fund, the first university-level impact investing fund in the US, helping raise ~$500K as a Founding Fund Member and President. - Led IDEA, the world's largest university-backed accelerator, supporting 500 ventures that collectively raised $250M+ and overseeing $1M+ in annual grants. - Co-founded Setu with SVP India, helping raise ₹15 Cr+ for NGOs across three editions. - Founded Northeastern University's first Sustainable Investment Summit (NU SIS). - Founded The Dalal Street, India's first high-school business conclave. - Delivered two TEDx talks and was recognized among Forbes' 100 Best & Brightest Students in America and BostonInno's 25 Under 25. 👨🏼🎓 Background & Education: - Born and raised in Kolkata in a large Marwari joint family. - Attended La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata. - Studied at Northeastern University in Boston and spent a summer at the London School of Economics. 💪🏻 Other facts: - Played squash competitively on the Indian and Asian circuits and captained Northeastern University's squash team to its best-ever national finish. - Trained in Hindustani classical music while growing up. - As a child, I disliked reading.
