About

I am a pre-medical undergraduate at the University of Nevada, Reno and a member of the Honors College, pursuing a B.S. in Neuroscience with interests in neuroscience, clinical medicine, and biomedical research. My undergraduate research experience in UNR’s Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology introduced me to molecular biology techniques including PCR, gel electrophoresis, pipetting, centrifugation, and bacterial colony work while studying topics related to virus-vector interactions, mosquito antiviral responses, and arbovirus transmission. I have also gained healthcare exposure through volunteer service at the Ioannis A. Lougaris VA Medical Center I am especially interested in opportunities involving neuroscience, clinical research, patient care, and medicine. I hope to continue developing my research, clinical, and communication skills as I prepare for a future healthcare career. I am fluent in both English and Arabic and value opportunities to work with diverse patients, researchers, and healthcare professionals.
