I am a second year student in the University of Johannesburg studying diploma in public relations and communication. I must say its been fun studying in the University of Johannesburg as you get to be exposed to many skills, opportunities and different activities. I have learnt few interesting skills which I thought are not that important until you get exposed to the fast-paced technology environment. I have learnt how to use a computer, which is something I did not know very well since I did not have CAT at high school. I have created a few story telling projets using Microsoft sway and they got really good grades for a beginner. I also learnt how to use PowerPoint presentation and academic essay as well as how to conduct proper research. Above all I learnt how to work well with others as well as communicating well. Professionalism is the first thing being taught in the University and also time management. I am still looking forward to my learning journey in the University of Johannesburg.
