As the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Con Edison Inc., Kamran is responsible for Enterprise Technology, Cybersecurity and Corporate Security. His teams are charged with delivering emerging technologies that deliver transformative customer and employee experiences. He previously served as CIO and SVP of Verizon’s Technology Strategy, Global Infrastructure as well as Infrastructure and application security and risk management for Verizon Global Services organization. Kamran is a senior global technology and operations leader and business visionary; who maximizes organizational productivity through innovative technology solutions, builds best-in-class teams, setting the strategic focus, and delivering beyond expectations. He leads game-changing business strategies and initiatives while driving high-performance technology and telecommunications teams. A passionate leader that motivates and builds strong teams, both onshore and offshore, Kamran achieves a sense of shared purpose and operational excellence, while positively impacting the bottom line. Prior to Verizon, Kamran served as Chief Information Officer at Lumen (CenturyLink), where he led the digital transformation of the company’s legacy platforms. In addition, he led the diversity program for women in STEM across the firm. Kamran has also held Executive leadership positions at Liberty Global family of companies, including CTO of Ziggo in the Netherlands, CIO and Head of Customer Operations at Unitymedia and European CIO of Virgin Media. Kamran is an active investor in emerging technology startups and serves on the boards of several next generation technology firms in Silicon Valley. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and a global voice in the world of technology transformation.
Responsible for enterprise-wide Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Corporate Security functions, driving technology strategy, operational resilience, risk management, and the protection of critical infrastructure across the organization.
