I worked for the Nexstar Affiliate in Dallas, KDAF-TV/CW33. I provided both traditional and digital advertising solutions to local, regional, and national businesses.
I managed 25-30 local/regional accounts for the Lubbock ABC and CBS affiliates KAMC and KLBK. I oversaw clients' television and digital advertising, including budget, design, social, and digital media placement. I also advised on other media and handled TV, social, and digital creative/production. In under two years with these stations, I sold a total of ~$950,000 in local TV and digital advertising.
Developed skills in how to use different Salesforce products (Salesforce Datorama, Marketing Cloud, Social Studio). Basic marketing tasks such as checking new members of the credit union and updating digital signs daily. Wrote our financial education blogs for the credit union website. Put together our mortgage newsletter that was emailed weekly. Going to events networking and photography for our website and social media. Creating social content to be posted on our YouTube channel and social media sites.
Worked with The Richards Group for the Texas Tech Centennial to help curate content for current students, prospective students, and alumni. Coordinating with TRG staff members to maximize time management and ensure efficiency for the Texas Tech Centennial. Design, implement, and manage continuous survey components such as students engagement surveys and opinion polls. Conduct telephonic and in-person interviews to gather data regarding Texas Tech Centennial celebration.
Over 13 and a half weeks designed and presented an advertising campaign for GriffinWink’s client Market-33 a grocery store based out of Amarillo, TX. Went through the steps of an advertising campaign from start to finish. Conducted surveys and interviews. Learned vast amount of knowledge on media planning as well as creative execution. Created a 12-month media plan along with different creative ideas for digital and traditional media.
