Working in the Hadoop core team, responsible for the following: * Performance testing of Hadoop with dynamometer. * CI/CD for deployments to 1000s of nodes spread across various clusters. * Cluster expansions and decommissioning. * Building Tooling around Hadoop infrastructure. * Logging, monitoring and metrics collection. * Participate actively in 12x7 on-call responsibilities.

1) Managing about 150 servers with the following tech stack: * Apache/Nginx * Haproxy * ActiveMQ * NFS * PowerDNS * Puppet/Ansible for config management * Rundeck for IT-Ops management and Automation * Git for config management * FreeIPA for User management * RELK for logging and observability. 2) Setting up of Openshift(OKD) cluster. * Involved in splitting a monolith to a microservice based architecture. * Setup Kong API gateway along with Keycloak for authentication. * Setup a CI/CD pipeline with a canary deployment strategy in Bamboo for OpenShift deployments. * Setup a custom Prometheus cluster with local persistent volume. Used this as the data source in grafana to create intuitive graphs. 3) FreeIPA setup with replication and High-Availability. 4) Upgraded Postgres from 9.3 to 10.5 . Set up HA with streaming replication and regular WAL backups in S3. 5) Participating actively for 24x7 on-call responsibilities. 6) Automated Installation of Host OS for DR project on bare-metal boxes using Foreman.
Worked on automation of updating server packages and wrote a python script for the same. This was deployed to the servers using Rundeck and run as a cron job for a set of servers based on their groups every month.
