Hello, I'm Kamalini Paul, and my journey in real estate began at the age of 18, inspired by my father's legacy. Over the past 8 years, I've immersed myself in Hospitality and Real Estate, holding the role of Managing Director at Hotel De Sovrani, a leading business hotel in Kolkata. Beyond Hotel De Sovrani, I've ventured into introducing two budget hotels in East India's scenic hill stations, demonstrating my entrepreneurial spirit. Last year, I inaugurated a business center named Paulis Business Tower and this year, I proudly unveiled Serra Cafe, Kolkata's first automatic retractable rooftop cafe. My vision transcends mere construction; I'm committed to crafting experiences that meet diverse needs. My mission is to foster an environment where the current generation thrives not just in business but also in their hearts and minds. Engaging in social causes, I'm the only woman and youngest member of many associations in West Bengal like HRAEI, The Bengal chambers of Commerce to name a few. I’m an active advocate for equity, supporting women, the less privileged, contributing to community development, and championing animal welfare. My hard-work and commitment has gained national recognition, with awards including the APJ Abdul Kalam Award of Excellence in 2023 and the Times Businesswoman of West Bengal in the same year. From the age of 20, I immersed myself in every aspect of the hotel's operations, working closely with each department to understand its inner workings. Today, I assume full responsibility for managing the entire spectrum of operations, brand development, and expansion initiatives for the company. Through dedicated efforts, De Sovrani has earned the esteemed title of being recognized as the Best Business Hotel in Kolkata.
Serra Cafe, located in Kolkata's bustling Sector 5, stands out as the city's premier destination for a unique dining experience. Boasting the distinction of being the first rooftop glass greenhouse cafe in the area, it delights patrons with a tempting array of snacks and superb coffee. Beyond its culinary offerings, Serra Cafe also caters to corporate clientele with state-of-the-art banquet facilities, conference rooms, and private dining options.
Paulis Designs represents a modern approach to real estate, emphasizing minimalism, sustainability, and efficient design principles. In 2023, we unveiled our inaugural venture, Paulis Business Tower, a cutting-edge business center situated in Kolkata.
Poz Hospitality was conceived in October 2020, driven by my vision to revolutionize budget hospitality across India. With a core emphasis on hygiene, exemplary service, and affordability, POZ strives to empower middle to lower segment travelers, enabling them to savor the essence of Indian hospitality.
Initially launched as a cloud kitchen, Food Aaj Kal has evolved into a rapid food kiosk specializing in office snacks, corporate meal packages, and catering services for large events. Situated in the financial hub of Sector 5 in Kolkata, we have gained renown for our exceptional chai and delectable momos. Additionally, we offer home delivery services for the convenience of our customers.
