I am a passionate and motivated Biomedical Engineering graduate with a Diploma and Bachelor's degree in the field. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in medical electronics, biomedical instrumentation, and healthcare technology management. I am eager to contribute to the medical device industry, hospital equipment maintenance, or healthcare innovation, and I am actively seeking opportunities in service engineering, clinical support, QA/QC, or biomedical equipment handling roles.
Biomedical Engineer at Parul Sevashram Hospital, Vadodara | Ensuring smooth functioning of critical medical equipment through preventive & corrective maintenance, calibration, and compliance with NABH standards.
During my 3-month internship in the Testing Department at Max Ventilator, I had the opportunity to work closely with ICU ventilators, learning how to test, calibrate, and ensure they met quality standards.I was involved in checking the ventilation modes, alarm systems, sensor accuracy, and battery backup, making sure everything was safe and functional. I also helped document test results and worked with the engineering team to troubleshoot any issues, ensuring the ventilators performed reliably for patient care.
During my 15-day internship at Civil Hospital, I gained hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of biomedical equipment across various departments, including the ICU, NICU, OT, Radiology, and Hemodialysis. I observed and learned about key medical devices such as ventilators, patient monitors, dialysis machines, and imaging systems, with a focus on their functionality, calibration, and routine maintenance. Additionally, I became familiar with hospital safety protocols and sterilization procedures, which are critical to ensuring patient safety and infection control.
